One time or another in our busy lives we stop and think and wonder about why we are here on this earth to live our mortal lives. Most of us are grateful for the chance to have been born and spend our lives with our families and love ones. But is there something more? Are we seeking extra-terrestrial beings to communicate with or are we like our parents and ancestors seek the comfort and answers from our pastors, ministers and priest of tradition and religion?
Eastern and Western religions use meditations or for ordinary people like us, we can say, “We do pray once in a while if we are in trouble or need/want something really bad…”
We are sentient beings, we do stop and think, whether we like it or not ask philosophical questions such as “Is there a God?”, Is my consciousness, my soul and will it go beyond this physical world? Is everything in my life predestined or do I really have free will?

Descartes pin pointed the tiny pineal gland, located in the center of the brain where all thoughts are formed – per Descartes’ philosophy, the seat of the human soul.
Is the human brain the seat of a person’s soul?
